What might be a typical day in a student's life at Performance Training Institute?
As a student you will have several options each day. You may choose to spend time completing your weekly lesson, or you may choose to resolve other more urgent commitments. Either choice, the courses are structured and designed to be completed in five weeks. Your work will be split into weekly sections, allowing you to work at your own pace within these time constraints.
Study Time
We provide many learning resources: You may read online material; watch a video; observe animations; study graphic diagrams; read flashcards; or reinforce the material recently learned by reviewing the same topics in online text form.
Practice Time
We provide many vehicles that allow you to practice what you learn: You may apply your knowledge and practice using case studies and exercises; test yourself by playing online games; take an online quiz or test that provides instant feedback (correct and incorrect answers) to determine your competency level; schedule a live online lecture for the week; choose to review the previous week's lecture from the archives; or browse the web guided by recommendations in the curriculum.
Personal Contact Time
We provide many ways for you to stay in contact: You may speak to your instructor on a one-on-one basis or via an email; join a chat group and instant message a specific question; attend a scheduled online collaboration group project; respond to the online forums; talk to one of your classmates; or speak to your Academic Advisor, your touch-point to the school, who is always ready to assist you wherever and whenever possible.
While these options may seem staggering, in fact, they really are not. Our well-structured curriculum guides you in a friendly step-by-step path through all of your the assignments. We create the platform that you can operate successfully. You may, of course, decide to go beyond this, and access as many of the resources as you wish, and repeat certain sections of the course when you want or need.
