Just as you should be selective when choosing a school, Performance Training Institute is selective in the students we accept into our programs. We will accept students who are professional, mature, self-driven, and who will become great ambassadors of PTI upon graduation. For this reason, we made applying for admissions to PTI a user-friendly straightforward process.

Applicants for admission to the online school must possess a high school diploma or the equivalent (GED), and access or the ability to access Internet and email.

Applicants for the online programs will be required to take the Wonderlic Scholastic Level Exam - Quick Test (SME - Q) online, and must score in the "Pursue" range as defined by Wonderlic.

Applicants for the online programs will be required to complete a questionnaire that will allow school staff members to determine if the applicant is suitable for this method of program delivery.

Applicants for admission to the online school will be interviewed over the phone by an admissions representative to determine the applicant's vocational objectives, motivation, determination and attitude towards completing the training and entering full-time employment.

The admissions representative will review with the applicant all of the pertinent information regarding the online programs and procedures, including course data sheets, a PTI catalog, a pricing sheet, enrollment agreement, and other miscellaneous forms, all of which will be available to students online or in hard copy form.

Careful steps are taken to ensure that applicants fully understand their rights, responsibilities and obligations to the school. These same steps are taken to ensure that applicants fully understand the school's responsibilities to them as well.

After the applicant has taken and passed the Wonderlic Exam (SME - Q) and completed the required questionnaire, he or she will be directed to a PTI financial aid officer to determine his or her need and eligibility for financial aid.

The financial aid officer will assist the applicant through the application process. This may include offering assistance with the required financial aid documents, explaining and creating repayment plans and obligations, and answering the questions needed to ensure that all of our students are well-informed applicants.

The applicant then signs and returns the required admissions and financial aid documents necessary for enrollment. When it is determined that the applicant possesses the traits, qualities and means to enter and successfully complete the training program, the enrollment agreement will be completed by school officials and the applicant will be officially enrolled as a student.
